The 14th Reintegration Puzzle Conference is to be held in Hobart Tasmania, 20th – 22nd June 2018.
The theme for the conference is “Smarter Justice, Safer Communities”.
This year the conference will focus on identifying the elements of a “smart” justice system, one that works to build capacity of justice involved individuals to lead good lives and makes the community feel safe. With the current prison system at capacity, how can we influence policy and practice at the state and federal level so that fewer people are caught in the revolving door of prison?
The role people with lived experience of prison can play in changing systems will also be explored once again.
This year’s conference has been timed to allow delegates to enjoy all that the annual Dark Mofo festival has to offer.
All information about the conference and call for papers is available on their website
