The Conference dinner was held on Wednesday 16 November and the 30th Birthday of the Singapore National Crime Prevention Council was celebrated. The Guest of Honour was Mr Teo Chee Hean, Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore. As a highlight of the dinner, the book “Making Singapore Safe:Thirty Years of the National Crime Prevention Council” describing the history and activities of the Council was launched.

Following the Conference, site visits were arranged for delegates to the Singapore Home Team academy, the Police Coast Guard, Tuas Checkpoint and the Jurong Island Chemical Hub Security Checkpoint. Others attended a criminality and terrorism workshop with the Home Team Behavioural Sciences Unit, Singapore Police Psychology Unit and Singapore prison Psychologists.
During the course of the Conference, Master Norman and Judge Wilson held meetings with the Singapore and Malaysian delegates to follow up on the resolutions at the Adelaide Forum to develop a network of crime prevention councils in the region.
