The Australian Crime Prevention Council offers four categories of membership, each with specific requirements. Our membership categories are:
Student Member
In order to be admitted as a Student Member of the ACPC, the following criteria must be met:
- The applicant is currently enrolled with a registered training organisation, studying a relevant course.
- The applicant is not in full-time employment.
Price: $10 per annum
Member
In order to be admitted as a Student Member of the ACPC, the following criteria must be met:
- The applicant is currently working within crime prevention in any role / capacity including the legal framework, social development, policy development and any other relevant disciplines .
- The applicant has attended and qualified at a recognised course or training as determined by the relevant committee or has relevant experience in relation to the delivery of crime prevention programs.
Price: $20 per annum
Fellow
In order to be admitted as a Student Member of the ACPC, the following criteria must be met:
- The applicant meets all of the criteria as a Member.
- The applicant has been a Member of the ACPC for a continual period of 10 years or more.
Price: $15 per annum
Retired Member
In order to be admitted as a Student Member of the ACPC, the following criteria must be met:
- The applicant previously met all of the criteria to be a Member.
- The applicant is over the age of 60 and is no longer in full-time or part-time employment.
